Resolution No. (83) of 2013 AD

on authorising the Cabinet to transfer financial allocations

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

  • The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 03 August 2011 and amendments thereto;
  • General National Congress Resolution No. (62) of 2013 AD on approving the amendment of the Congress’ by-laws;
  • The Law of the Financial System of the State, and the budget, accounts, and stores regulations;
  • Law No. (7) of 2013 on approving the State’s general budget for 2013 AD and amendments thereto;
  • Prime Minister Letter No. (10364) issued on 1 September 2013 AD;
  • The conclusions of the General National Congress in its one hundred and thirtieth ordinary meeting held on Sunday, 29 September 2013 AD;

issued the following Resolution:

Article (1)

The Cabinet shall be authorised to make transfers from Part (3) allocations in the budget for 2013 AD in the amount of two hundred million Libyan dinars (LYD 200,000,000), provided such amount is entered within Part (1) of Ministry of Labour and Rehabilitation allocations, of which one hundred forty-five million Libyan dinars (LYD 145,000,000) shall be disbursed to cover the accruals contained in the Prime Minister’s Letter referred to above. The Cabinet shall determine the item in Part (3) from which such allocations shall be transferred.

Article (2)

This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its issue and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
