The House of Representatives,

Upon review of:

  • The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 03 August 2011 AD and amendments thereto;
  • Law No. (6) of 1982 AD reorganising the Supreme Court and amendments thereto;
  • Law No. (6) of 2006 AD on the justice system and amendments thereto;
  • Law No. (10) of 2014 AD on electing the House of Representatives during the transitional period;
  • Law No. (4) of 2014 AD on approving the by-laws of the House of Representatives;
  • The conclusions of the House of Representatives in its twenty-fifth ordinary session held on Tuesday, 24/11/2014 AD;

issued the following Law:

Article (1)

Article (4) of Law No. (6) of 1982 AD reorganising the Supreme Court shall be amended so that its new provision shall be as follows:

“The location of the Supreme Court’s sessions shall be temporarily moved to the city of Al-Bayda, Libya.”

Article (2)

This Law shall come into force on the date of its issue and any provision conflicting with this Law shall be repealed. This Law shall be published in the Official Gazette and various media.
