on accepting a resignation

The General National Congress

Upon review of:

  • The Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011, and the amendments thereof;
  • General National Congress Resolution No. (62) of 2013 on approving the amendment of the General National Congress’ rules of procedure;
  • Law No. (4) of 2012 on the election of the General National Congress and the amendments thereof;
  • The request for relief from office submitted by General National Congress member Ibrahim Hassan al-Ghariani on 03/02/2014;
  • The conclusions of the General National Congress in its 163rd ordinary session held on Monday 3 Rabi’ al-Thani 1435 AH corresponding to 3 February 2014 AD;

issued the following resolution :

Article (1)

The resignation of Mr. Ibrahim Hassan al-Ghariani from the General National Congress shall be accepted.

Article (2)

The provisions of this resolution shall enter into force from its date of issuance. This resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette.
