on terminating the service of an officer

The Interim National Transitional Council President

Upon review of:

  • The Victory Statement of the 17 February Revolution issued on 22 February 2011;
  • The Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011, and the amendment thereof;
  • The decision forming the Interim National Transition Council and determining its powers;
  • The bylaws of the National Transitional Council, and its internal regulation;
  • Law No. (40) of 1974, and the amendments thereof;
  • Law No. (11) of 2012 adopting some provisions on the powers of command levels in the Libyan Army;
  • Based on the Minister of Defence’s proposal and the approval of the Chief of Staff;

has decreed:

Article (1)

The service of Lieut. Col. Eng. Mahmoud Milad Ahmed al-Ajili in the Libyan Army shall be terminated, and his resignation shall be accepted.

Article (2)

This decree shall enter into force from its date of issuance, and the concerned entities shall implement it.
