The Cabinet
:

Upon review of:

  • The Constitutional Declaration and its amendments;
  • The law of the financial system of the State of Libya, and budget, accounting and inventory regulation and amendments;
  • Law No. (12) of 2010 issuing the Labour Relations Law and its executive regulation;
  • Law No. (10) of 1992 on security and police;
  • National Transitional Council Resolution No. (184) of 2011 on adopting the transitional government;
  • Cabinet Decree No. (145) of 2012 approving the organisational structure and powers of the Ministry of Interior and the organisation of its executive unit;
  • Minister of Interior Letter No. (9146) dated 17/09/2012;
  • And the minutes of the Cabinet’s 37th ordinary session of 2012;

has decreed:

Article (1)

The General Department of Electricity Police shall fall within the organisational divisions in the organisational structure of the Ministry of Interior. The Minister of Interior, in coordination with the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energies shall take the measures that ensure the directorate carries out its tasks in accordance with the legislation in force.

Article (2)

This decree shall enter into force from its date of issuance and any contrary provision shall be repealed. The concerned parties shall implement this decree, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
