Decree No. (23) of 2013 AD

on appointing a Libyan delegate

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

  • The Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011 AD and amendments thereto;
  • Law No. (2) of 2001 AD on organizing political and consular work, the implementing regulations thereof, and amendments thereto;
  • Law No. (12) of 2010 AD on issuing the Labour Relations Law and the implementing regulations thereof;
  • The by-laws of the General National Congress;
  • The proposal of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the General National Congress;
  • The conclusions of the General National Congress in its session held on Tuesday, 16 Rabi’ al-Thani 1434 AH, corresponding to 1 March 2013 AD;

issued the following Resolution:

Article (1)

Mr. Ashour Hamad Abu Rashed shall be appointed Libya’s delegate to the League of Arab States.

Article (2)

This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its issue and all provisions conflicting herewith shall be repealed. This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette.
