on the election of the Constituent Assembly for drafting the constitution

The House of Representatives

Upon review of:

• The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 3/August/2011 and the amendments thereof;
• Law No. (10) of 2014 on the election of the House of Representatives during the transitional period;
• Law No. (8) of 2013 on the establishment of the High National Elections Commission;
• Law No. (17) of 2013 on the election of the Constituent Assembly for drafting the constitution;
• High National Elections Commission Decree No. (107) of 2014 on declaring the winners of the House of Representatives seats for the transitional period;
• Article (2) of the House of Representatives Resolution No. (2) of 2014 on the establishment of a committee to draft the rules of procedure of the House of Representatives;
• The proposal of the High National Elections Commission;
• The conclusions of the 22^nd ordinary session of the House of Representatives held on Wednesday 03/09/2014;

issued the following law:

Article (1)

The third sub-district in the main Butnan electoral district shall be divided into two secondary districts as follows:

With the participation of the Darnah sub-district in the competition for the seat allocated for women in each of the two main districts “Butnan” and “Jabal al Akhdar.”

Article (2)

The provisions of this law shall enter into effect from its date of issuance. Any provision contrary thereto shall be repealed and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
