Resolution No. (55) of 2013 AD

on appointing a permanent delegate

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

• The Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011 AD and amendments thereto;
• The by-laws of the General National Congress;
• Law No. (2) of 2001 AD on the regulation of political and consular work, the implementing regulations thereof, and amendments thereto;
• Law No. (12) of 2010 AD on issuing the Work Relations Law and the implementing regulations thereof;
• The proposal of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the General National Congress under Letter No. (13-29651-18) issued on 3 June 2013 AD;
• The conclusions of the General National Congress in its ordinary session held on Sunday, 8 Shaaban 1434 AH, corresponding to 16 June 2013 AD;

issued the following Resolution:

Article (1)

Mr. Ibrahim Omar Al-Dabbashi shall be appointed Libya’s permanent delegate to the United Nations.

Article (2)

This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its issue and all provisions conflicting herewith shall be repealed. This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette.
