Decree of 1970 on forming a committee to examine the statements stipulated in the Illicit Acquisition Law

On the Formation of a Committee to Examine the Declarations provided for

in the Law on Illicit Gain

The Minister of Justice,

● Upon review of Law No. (3) of 1970 AD on Illicit Gain;

● Minister of Justice Decree issued on 16 Dhul Qadah 1389 AH, corresponding to

24 January 1970 AD on the Rules and Procedures for the Implementation of Law No. (3) of 1970 AD

On Illicit Gain; and

● Approval of the Supreme Judicial Council,

has decreed the following:

Article (1)

A committee shall be formed to examine the declarations provided for in Law No. 3 of 1970 AD referred to above, and to investigate complaints filed in accordance with the provisions of this law, as follows:

1. Mr. Ahmed Al Tahir Al Zawi, consultant at Tripoli Civil Court of Appeal, as chairman

2. Mr. Abul Qasim Ali Al Sharef, judge at Tripoli Civil Court of First Instance (on a full-time basis)

3. Mr. Abdul Wahid Al Shamakhi, member of the Audit Bureau, as member

Article (2)

The committee provided for in the preceding article shall exercise the responsibilities prescribed for the same under Law No. 3 of 1970 AD referred to above.

Article (3)

The Deputy of the Ministry shall implement this decree, which shall take effect on the issuance date thereof and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
