Decree No. (215) of 1993 AD

on the Approval of Mabrouk Field

Development and Production Sharing Agreement with

Total Oil Company (Libya)

The General People’s Committee,
Upon review of:

• The Petroleum Law No (25) of 1955, as amended;
• The Secretariat of the General People’s Congress Decree No. (10) of 1979 AD on

the Reorganization of the National Oil Corporation; and

• Law No. (13) of 1990 on the People’s Committees, and
• Based on the submission of the Secretary of the General People’s Committee in his Memorandum No. (2) of

1993 AD; and

• The conclusions reached by the General People’s Committee in its Second Ordinary Meeting of 1993 AD,

has decreed the following:

Article (1)

The Mabrouk Field Development and Production Sharing Agreement concluded by and between the National Oil Corporation and Total Oil Company (Libya) dated 24 Jumada Al-Akhera 1402, corresponding to 19 December 1992 AD, enclosed herewith, shall be approved.

Article (2)

This Decree shall enter into force as of the date of its issuance and shall be published in the official gazette.
