on dissolving the National Safety Authority

The Cabinet

Upon review of:

• The Constitutional Declaration, and the amendment thereof;
• The law of the financial system of the State, and budget, accounting and inventory regulation and the amendments thereof;
• Law No. (10) of 1992 on issuing the security and police law and its executive regulation;
• Law No. (12) of 2010 on issuing the labour relations law, and its executive regulation;
• National Transitional Council Resolution No. (174) of 2011 on determining the structure of the government;
• National Transitional Council Resolution No. (184) of 2011 on adopting the transitional government;
• “Former” General People’s Committee Resolution No. (437) of 2006 on the establishment of the National Safety Authority;
• Based on the proposal of the Minister of the Interior;
• And the decision of the Cabinet in its fifth ordinary session of 2012;

has decreed:

Article (1)

The National Safety Authority shall be dissolved and it shall cease practicing any activity. Its assets, balances, powers and personnel shall be transferred to the Minister of Interior, and the ministry shall take the necessary measures to implement the provisions of this decree.

Article (2)

This decree shall enter into force from its date of issuance, and any contrary provision shall be repealed. The relevant bodies shall implement it, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
