on the local administration system

The Cabinet

Upon review of:

• The Constitutional Declaration and the amendments thereof;
• The law of the financial system of the State, and budget, accounts, and inventory regulation, and the amendments thereof;
• Law No. (12) of 2010 issuing the law on labour relations, and the executive regulation thereof;
• General National Congress Resolution No. (10) of 2012 on granting the interim government the vote of confidence;
• Resolution No. (1) of 2012 of the deputy prime minister of the interim government on establishing a committee and determining its duties;
• The proposal of the Minister of Local Government in his Letter No. (LG/00151) of 03/01/2013;
• Letter No. (601) of 17/03/2013 of the Secretary of Cabinet Affairs;
• Decisions of the Cabinet’s third and fifth extraordinary sessions of 2013;

has decreed:

Article (1)

The provisions of the executive regulation of Law No. (59) of 2012 on the local administration system attached hereto shall enter into force.

Article (2)

The provisions of this decree shall enter into force from its date of issuance, repealing any contrary provision. It shall be implemented by the concerned entities and published in the Official Gazette.
