Resolution No. (1) of 2014 AD

on forming a fact-finding committee

and defining its functions

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

• The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 03 August 2011 AD and amendments thereto;
• General National Congress Resolution No. (62) of 2013 AD on approving the amendment of the by-laws of the General National Congress;
• The conclusions of the General National Congress in its one hundred and thirty-seventh ordinary meeting held on Sunday, 3 November 2013 AD;

issued the following Resolution:

Article (1)

A committee shall be formed as follows:

1. Mr. Mahmoud Salama Al-Ghariani Member of the General National Congress
2. Mr. Senussi Salem Al-Ghami Member of the General National Congress
3. Mr. Ali Arrefaee Zubi Member of the General National Congress
4. Mr. Khaled Ammar Al-Mashri Member of the General National Congress
5. Mr. Abdussalam Abdullah Nassiyah Member of the General National Congress
6. Ms. Soad Mohammed Ghannour Member of the General National Congress
7. Mr. Saleh Younis Misbah Member of the General National Congress
8. Mr. Safwan Ahmed Milad Member of the General National Congress

The committee shall select a chairman at its first meeting.

Article (2)

The aforementioned committee shall conduct fact-finding activities and collect information related to the disbursal of nine hundred million Libyan dinars (900,000,000 LYD) to the Ministry of Defence and the allocation thereof to armour.

In doing so, the committee may seek the assistance of anyone it deems necessary. The committee’s activities shall end with the submission of its report to the Congress President’s Office.

Article (3)

This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its issue and shall be implemented by all concerned parties.
