on accepting a resignation

The General National Congress

Upon review of:

• The Interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011, and the amendments thereof;
• General National Congress Resolution No. (62) of 2013 on adopting the amendment of the rules of procedure of the General National Congress;
• Law No. (4) of 2012 on the election of the General National Congress, and the amendments thereof;
• The request submitted by Mrs. Fariha Khalifa al-Barkawi, member of the General National Congress, on relief from her duties in the General National Congress, dated 26/01/2014;
• The conclusions of the General National Congress in its 163^rd session held on Monday, 3 Rabi’ al-Thani 1435 AH, corresponding to 3 February 2014;

issued the following resolution:

Article (1)

The resignation of Fariha Khalifa al-Barkawi from membership in the General National Congress shall be accepted.

Article (2)

The provisions of this resolution shall enter into force from its date of issuance, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
