National Transitional Council Resolution No. (25) of 2012 on amending the executive regulation for Law No. (2) of 2001 on organising political and consular work

Upon review of:

  • The Victory Statement of the 17 February Revolution issued on 22 February 2011;
  • The resolution forming the Interim National Transitional Council and determining its powers;
  • The basic bylaw for the council and its internal regulation;
  • The Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011;
  • The law of the financial system of the state and the budget, accounts, and inventory regulations, and the amendments thereof;
  • Law No. (2) of 2001 on organising political and consular work, and the executive regulation thereof;
  • The content of the National Transitional Council session hled on on Sunday, 18/03/2012;

has resolved:

Article (1)

A new paragraph shall be added to the text of Article (37) of the executive regulation for Law No. (2) of 2001 on organising political and consular work, the text of which shall read as follows:

“The subordination of financial comptrollers and their assistants in undertaking their duties shall be according to the provisions of the law of the financial system of the state and the regulations and decisions issued pursuant thereto shall be to the Ministry of Finance. The aforementioned shall work within the Ministry of Finance’s oversight, directives, and instructions. Their salaries, bonuses, and financial benefits and any other dues shall be paid from the ministry’s budget.”

Article (2)

This resolution shall enter into force from its date of issuance, any contradictory provision shall be repealed, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
