Decree No. (10) of 1994 AD on Establishing Summary Courts

 

Upon review of:

● The Judicial System Law issued by Law No. (51) of 1976 AD;

● The General People’s Committee Decree No. (19) of 1993 AD on Organizing the Secretariat of the General People’s Committee for Justice and Public Security;

● The General People’s Committee Decree No. (608) of 1992 AD on Establishing a Court of First Instance and a Plenary Prosecution;

● The Secretary of the General People’s Committee for Justice and Public Security Decree No. (49) of 1993 AD on Establishing Two Courts of First Instance and Two Plenary Prosecutions; and

● The two letters of the Chairman of the Judicial Bodies Inspection Management Committee No. (45 and 84) of 94 AD, and

● Based on the submission of the Undersecretary for Judicial and Legal Affairs,

 

The Secretary of the General People’s Committee for Justice and Public Security has decreed the following:

 

Article (1)

Two summary courts shall be established within the jurisdiction of Sirte Court of First Instance. The headquarters and jurisdictions of such courts shall be as follows:

1) Zella Summary Court: Having its headquarters in Zella City, and the same jurisdiction assigned to the abolished Zella remote court.

1) Bin Jawad Summary Court: Having its headquarters in Bin Jawad City, and the same jurisdiction assigned to the abolished Bin Jawad remote court.

 

Article (2)

A summary court to be cited as “Al Rajban Summary Court” shall be established within the jurisdiction of Jadu Court of First Instance. The new summary court shall be headquartered in Al Rajban City and shall have the same jurisdiction assigned to the abolished Al Rajban remote court.

 

Article (3)

This Decree shall enter into force as of the date of publishing the same in the official gazette and shall be implemented by the competent entities.
