Decree No. (123) of 2014

on the adoption of the names of candidates for the election of the constituent body to draft the Constitution for sub-districts (Derna)

Upon review of:

• The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011 and the amendments thereof;
• Law No. (8) of 2013 on the establishment of the High National Elections Commission;
• Law No. (17) of 2013 on the election of the Constitutional Drafting Assembly;
• Law No. (2) of 2014 amending some of the provisions of Law No. (17) of 2013 on the election of the Constitutional Drafting Assembly;
• The minutes of the sixteenth extraordinary session of the High National Elections Commission Council held on 22 September 2014;

it was decided:

Article (1)

The names of candidates for the election of the constituent body to draft the Constitution for secondary districts (the city of Derna) in the sub-district of (Derna) shall be adopted as follows:

Article (2)

The names of candidates for the election of the constituent body to draft the Constitution for the secondary district (Derna suburbs) in the sub-district of (Derna) shall be adopted as follows:

Article (3)

Any person concerned shall have the right to appeal this decision in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (17) of 2013 on the election of the Constitutional Drafting Assembly.

Article (4)

This decree shall enter into force from its date of issuance and shall be published in the Electoral Committee Office in Derna and on the website of the High National Elections Commission.
