on adopting a provision concerning the Public Safety Commodity Importing Co.

The Cabinet

Upon review of:

  • The Constitutional Declaration, and the amendment thereof;
  • The Law of the Financial System of the State, and budget, accounting, and inventory regulation, and the amendment thereof;
  • Law No. (10) of 1992 on issuing the security and police law, and its executive regulation;
  • Law No. (12) of 2010 on issuing the labour relations law, and its executive regulation;
  • Law No. (23) of 2010 on commercial activity;
  • National Transitional Council Resolution No. (17) of 2011 on dissolving the Internal and External Security Services and transferring their functions to local councils.
  • National Transitional Council Resolution No. (174) of 2011 on determining the structure of the government;
  • National Transitional Council Resolution No. (184) of 2011 on approving the transitional government;
  • Based on the Minister of Interior’s proposal;
  • And the decision of the Cabinet in its fifth ordinary session of 2012;

has decreed:

Article (1)

The Ministry of Interior shall reorganise the Public Safety Commodity Importing Co. (Silamnia) in accordance with the provisions of the above-mentioned Law No. (23) of 2010, changing its name to the “Public Services and Security Commodity Co.” and propose the necessary measures in this regard to the Cabinet.

Article (2)

This resolution shall enter into force from its date of issuance, and any contrary provision shall be repealed. The relevant bodies shall implement it, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
