on appointing officers to the National Security Service

The Cabinet

Upon review of:

• The Constitutional Declaration;
• The law of the financial system of the State, and budget, accounts, and inventory regulation, and the amendments thereof;
• Law No. (10) of 1992 issuing the law on security and police;
• Law No. (12) of 2010 issuing the law on labour relations and the executive regulation thereof;
• National Transitional Council Resolution No. (174) of 2011 on determining the structure of the government;
• National Transitional Council Resolution No. (184) of 2011 on approval of the transitional government;
• The proposal of the Minister of Interior in his Letter No. (801) of 16/02/2012;
• The decisions of the fourteenth ordinary session of the Cabinet for the year 2012;

has decided:

Article (1)

The graduates referred to hereinafter shall be appointed to the National Security Service in the rank of first lieutenant. The first of these 22 graduates is Akram Mohammed Issa Hamad and the last is Walid Miloud Mohammed Muftah. The Ministry of Interior shall settle the status of the concerned persons in accordance with the legislation in force.

Article (2)

This decree shall enter into force from its date of issuance. It shall be implemented by the concerned entities and published in the Official Gazette.
