on Amending Certain Provisions of Decree No. (66)

of 1993 AD

The General People’s Committee,
Upon review of:

• The General People’s Committee Decree No. (66) of 1993 AD, on Organizing

the Secretariat pf the General People’s Committee for the People’s Bureau for Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation; and

• The submission of the Secretary of the General People’s Committee for the People’s Bureau for

Foreign Liaison and International Cooperation in his Memorandum No. (57) of 1993 AD, dated 16 Ramadan

1402 FDP, corresponding to 9 March 1993 AD,

has decreed the following:

Article (1)

Article (4) of the General People’s Committee’s Decree No. (66) of 1993 AD shall be amended to read as follows: 

Article (4) 

The Secretariat shall have an Undersecretary for political affairs and an Undersecretary for technical and cooperation affairs, each shall undertake the responsibilities assigned thereto the undersecretary under the legislation in force. 

Such undersecretaries shall assist the Secretary in undertaking his mandates, within the scope of the tasks assigned thereto.”

Article (2)

The Office of Chad Affairs shall be closed and the responsibilities assigned thereto shall be transferred to the African Affairs Department.

Article (3)

This Decree shall enter into force as of the date of its issuance and shall be published in the official gazette.
