Decree No. (47) of 1994 AD

on Abolishing Remote Prosecutions

 

The Secretary of the General People’s Committee for Justice and Public Security,
Upon review of:

  • The Judicial System Law issued by Law No. (51) of 76 AD;
  • The General People’s Committee Decree No. (19) of 93 AD on Organizing the Secretariat of the

General People’s Committee for Justice and Public Security;

  • The General People’s Committee for Justice Decree No. (603) of 92 AD on Establishing a Court of First Instance

and a Plenary Prosecution;

  • The Secretary of the General People’s Committee for Justice and Public Security Decree No. (49) of 93 AD

on Establishing Two Courts of First Instance and Two Plenary Prosecutions;

  • The Secretary of the General People’s Committee for Justice and Public Security Decree No. (9) of 94 AD

on Abolishing Remote Courts; and

  • Upon consultation with the Chairman of the Judicial Bodies Inspection Management Committee, and
  • Based on the submission of the Undersecretary for Judicial and Legal Affairs,

 

has decreed the following:

 

Article (1)

The following remote prosecutions shall be abolished:

1. Zella Remote Prosecution;

2. Bin Jawad Remote Prosecution; and

3. Al Rajban Remote Prosecution.

 

Article (2)

This Decree shall enter into force as of the date publishing the same in the official gazette and shall be implemented by the competent bodies.
