Decree amending Regulations of

Municipal Guards

The Minister of Interior and Local Government,

● Upon review of Law No. (19) of 1968 on Municipalities, as amended

by Law No. (11) of 1969 AD;

● Civil Service Law No. (19) of 1964 AD; and

● Regulations of Municipal Guards issued on 16 Rabi al-Awwal 1388 AH,

Corresponding to 12 June 1968 AD,

has decreed the following:

Article (1)

Paragraph c of Article 15 of the Municipal Guard Regulations shall be amended as follows:

c. To have at least a primary school certificate.

Article (2)

The Deputy of the Ministry shall implement this decree, which shall take effect on the issuance date thereof and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
