Resolution No. (39) of 2014

on setting a date

for the election of the House of Representatives for the transitional period

The General National Congress

Upon review of:

• The Constitutional Declaration issued on 03/08/2011, and the amendments thereof;
• The rules of procedure of the General National Congress;
• Law No. (8) of 2013 on the High National Elections Commission;
• Law No. (10) of 2014 on the election of the House of Representatives for the transitional period;
• The results of the General National Congress session held on 25 May 2014;

issued the following resolution :

Article (1)

The elections of the House of Representatives for the transitional period shall be scheduled on 25/06/2014.

Article (2)

This resolution shall enter into force from its date of issuance. It shall be published in the Official Gazette and the available media outlets, and it shall be implemented by all the concerned entities.
