Resolution No. (4) of 2012 AD

on approving the results of the election of the Congress’s official spokesman

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

• The Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011 AD;
• Law No. (4) of 2012 AD on electing the General National Congress and amendments thereto;
• High Elections Commission Decision No. (102) of 2012 on approving the results of the General National Congress election;
• General National Congress Decree No. (1) on approving the results of the General National Congress presidential elections;
• The resolutions of the General National Assembly in its fourth meeting held on 25/08/2012 AD;

has decreed:

Article (1)

The General National Congress official spokesman elections which took place in the fourth meeting of the General National Congress held on 25/08/2012 AD selecting Mr. Omar Mohammed Humaidan as official spokesman for the Congress shall be approved.

Article (2)

This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its issue. The concerned bodies shall implement this Resolution and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
