Resolution No. (40) of 2013 AD

on naming the president and members of the

High National Elections Commission Board

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

• The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 03 August 2011 AD and amendments thereto;
• The by-laws of the General National Congress;
• Law No. (8) of 2013 AD on establishing the High National Elections Commission;
• General National Congress Resolution No. (30) of 2013 AD on commencing the election of the Constitutional Drafting Assembly;
• The conclusions of the General National Congress in its ordinary meeting held on Sunday, 11 Jumada al-Akhera 1434 AH, corresponding to 21 April 2013 AD;

issued the following Resolution:

Article (1)

The following shall be named to the Board of the High National Elections Commission, established under the aforementioned Law No. (8) of 2013 AD:

1. Mr. Nouri Khalifa Al-Abbar, Chairman
2. Mr. Khaled Ali Al-Saheli, Member
3. Mr. Ammad Al-Shathli Al-Saeh, Member
4. Mr. Ali Mohammed Al-Tuati, Member
5. Mr. Abdel-Hakim Al-Shaab Bilkheir, Member
6. Mr. Abu Bakr Ali Mohammed, Member
7. Ms. Rabab Mohammed Halab, Member

Article (2)

This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its issue and all provisions conflicting herewith shall be repealed. This Resolution shall be published in the Official Gazette.
