Resolution No. (60) of 2013 AD

on approving the election of the President of the General National Congress

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

• The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 03 August 2011 AD and amendments thereto;
• The by-laws of the General National Congress;
• Law No. (4) of 2012 AD on approving the election of the General National Congress;
• Law No. (1) of 2012 AD on approving the results of the election for the presidency of the General National Congress;
• General National Congress Resolution No. (50) of 2013 AD on approving a resignation;
• The conclusions of the General National Congress in its one hundred and first ordinary meeting held on Tuesday, 25 June 2013 AD;

issued the following Resolution:

Article (1)

The election of Mr. Nouri Ali Abusahmain as President of the General National Congress shall be approved.

Article (2)

This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its approval in the session referred to above and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
