on granting permission to the Ministry of Finance to transfer financial allocations

to the Ministry of Social Affairs

The General National Congress

Upon review of:

  • The Interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 3 August 2011, and the amendments thereof;
  • The rules of procedure of the General National Congress;
  • The Law of the Financial System of the State, and budget, accounts, and warehouse regulation;
  • Law No. (6) of 2013 on the children’s grant;
  • Law No. (7) of 2013 on adopting the general budget of the State;
  • Resolution No. (56) of 2012 on prompt implementation of Law No. (6) of 2013 on the children’s grant;
  • The conclusions of the General National Congress in its 102nd session on Sunday, 30 June 2013.

issued the following resolution:

Article (1)

The Ministry of Finance shall be permitted to transfer the amount due to cover the value of the children’s grant in the amount of (2,400,000,000 LYD) two billion, four hundred million Libyan dinars determined under Law No. (6) of 2013 from the reserve item in the budget to the Ministry of Social Affairs.

Article (2)

The Ministry of Social Affairs shall work to expeditiously implement the law mentioned in Article (1) with attention to careful application of the conditions relating to women past the age of 18.

Article (3)

The provisions of this law shall enter into force from its date of issuance, and the concerned persons shall implement it.
