Resolution No. (89) of 2013 AD

on adopting the election of the First Deputy

President of the General National Congress

The General National Congress,

Upon review of:

• The interim Constitutional Declaration issued on 03 August 2011;
• Law No. (4) of 2012 AD on approving the election of the General National Congress;
• General National Congress Decision No. (62) of 2013 AD on approving the amendment of the by-laws of the General National Congress;
• Law No. (1) of 2012 AD on approving the results of the election for the presidency of the General National Congress;
• General National Congress Resolution No. (66) of 2013 AD on approving a resignation;
• The conclusions of the General National Congress in its one hundred and forty-fourth ordinary meeting held on Sunday, 24 November 2013 AD;

issued the following Resolution:

Article (1)

The election of Mr. Ezzidine Mohammed Younes Al-Awami as First Deputy President of the General National Congress shall be approved.

Article (2)

This Resolution shall enter into force on the date of its approval on 24 November 2013 AD and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
